Smartphone Vision Syndrome Awareness campaign at Thiruvanmiyur beach

Kidzee Thiruvanmiyur along with the East Coast Beach Walker Association (ECWBA) conducted a public awareness campaign about Smart Vision Syndrome (SVS) at Thiruvanmiyur beach on Oct.15.

More than 200 persons participated in the walkathon to spread awareness about Smartphone Vision Syndrome. SVS is a condition that results from prolonged use of digital devices such as smartphones, laptops, and tablets.

M.Arulkumar – President, welcomed the gathering, and Prof.R.Thanasekaran – Secretary, briefly informed the public about the ill-effects of Smartphone Vision Syndrome (SVS) in our daily life. The teachers from Kidzee Thiruvanmiyur Preschool explained how it affects the vision of all age groups, and its prevention methods. Treasurer T.Venugopal and honorary President  R.Arunachalam spoke on the occasion. The office bearers, committee members, members of ECBWA, the public, and parents from Kidzee PreSchool largely participated in the Walkathon with placards and awareness slogans.
