IITM Pravartak launches free training program for B.Sc. and BCA students

 IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation has launched a new initiative to train students with industry-ready technical skills, completely free of cost. This training program will focus on IT/Infrastructure and helpdesk support. It will be a classroom-based training program.  This is a CSR initiative of Lightstorm (www.lightstorm.net).

The course will include Networking Essentials, Cloud Fundamentals, Ticketing Tools, Linux and Windows Basics, Storage and Backup Fundamentals and Soft Skills. IITM Pravartak will select the students for the training program to impart industry-ready skills in the above tech skill areas.Eligibility: 2023, 2024 passed B.Sc. of streams – Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biotechnology, and BCA students, with minimum 60% aggregate. The training program will commence during the first week of July 2024. The last date to apply is June 12. Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
