Janmashtami festival held at ISKCON ECR on Aug.26 was nothing short of magnificent, drawing a massive crowd from all corners of the city. This year’s celebration stood out as one of the grandest festivals in recent memory.
The highlight of the event was the maha abhishekam and maha arati, where the deities were beautifully adorned and worshipped with great opulence. The elaborate ceremonies, accompanied by melodious kirtans, created an ethereal experience that left everyone spellbound.
Adding to the festive spirit were the numerous stalls set up by devotees, offering a variety of spiritual products, including sacred books and devotional items. These stalls were a hub of activity throughout the day, attracting visitors eager to take home a piece of the divine celebration.
Tamilnadu Governor R.N.Ravi also participated in the celebrations and tweeted, “On the auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, had darshan and did Pooja at the ISKCON Temple, Chennai, for the good of our people.
