The Kindergarten department of Sri Sankara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur organised a spectacular thematic day on the topic ‘Divine Depictions’.
The event saw young students bringing to life divine characters and stories through their engaging performances and colourful costumes.
The event began with the Pre-KG students beautifully depicting Mount Kailash, the divine abode of Lord Shiva. The LKG students took the audience on a spiritual journey through Arupadaiveedu and Dasavatharam. Iconic scenes from the Mahabharata were also reenacted, leaving visitors immersed in the epic’s legendary moments.
The UKG students enacted the classic Tamil tale Thiruvilayadal, and the presence of the Ashtalakshmi, the eight forms of the Goddess Lakshmi, further elevated the atmosphere. The day concluded with a grand staging of the Ramayana.
