Additional buses for the weekend and Bakrid holidays

Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation will operate additional buses from June.14 to 17 to facilitate travel between Chennai and other districts for the long weekend, which coincides with Muhurtham days and Bakrid (June 17).

A total of 1270 special buses will be operated from June 14 to 16, from Chennai Kilambakkam bus terminus (Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus) to Tiruvannamalai, Trichy, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Coimbatore, and Salem; i.e., 545 buses on June 14, 585 buses on June 15 and 140 special buses on June 16. On June 17, 705 special buses will be operated from other districts to Chennai.
