Appayya Dikshitha Foundation (ADF), Kottivakkam, celebrates Akshaya Tritiya day, on May 10, with the following programmes:
- Providing special lunches to orphaned children, destitute senior citizens and patients at Subadra Old Age home, Uttandi, ECR.
- Samardha bhojanam at Trimbakeshwar Veda Patasala for the students.
- Mass annadhanam at the Sankara Mutt, Tiruvottiyur.
- Providing food for rescued, sick and aged cows being protected and maintained by the Indian Institute of Animal Welfare.
- Distributing new clothes to all the Vedic scholars during Athirudram proceedings held at the Mahaswami Manimandapam, Orikkai (near Kancheepuram).
