The Greater Chennai Police has been conducting drug awareness programmes in many colleges and public places to raise awareness on the hazards of narcotics.
One such campaign was held at Patrician College of Arts and Science, Gandhi Nagar recently. A float balloon with a message on drugs was hoisted above the college, and officials addressed the students about the ill-effects of drugs. The students also took a pledge on drug eradication.
A selfie point with the message was also placed outside the Nalli showroom, 3rd Cross Street, Kasturba Nagar, last week.
