CMWSSB to Hold Public Grievance Redressal Meeting on April 12

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) has announced that it will conduct Public Grievance Redressal Meetings across all its 15 area offices on April 12, 2025, between 10 am and 1 pm.

These meetings are a regular initiative by the CMWSSB, held on the second Saturday of each month, to address concerns and issues faced by the public, directly.

The area offices where the grievance meetings will be held are:

  1. Royapuram
  2. Manali
  3. Madhavaram
  4. Tondiarpet
  5. Kilpauk
  6. Ambattur
  7. Anna Nagar
  8. Teynampet
  9. Kodambakkam
  10. Valasaravakkam
  11. Alandur
  12. Adyar
  13. Perungudi
  14. Sholinganallur

Key Issues Addressed:

Residents can raise grievances related to:

  • Billing discrepancies
  • Sewer blockages
  • Disruptions in drinking water supply
  • Requests for new water or sewer connections
  • General maintenance concerns
  • Other service-related issues

Senior officials from each area office will be present to ensure prompt attention and action on complaints submitted during the meeting.

The CMWSSB has encouraged the public to actively participate in these meetings to help improve civic infrastructure and service delivery.
