Experience ‘Millet Me Up’ at Elliot’s Beach
Share on WhatsappShare on Facebook

Health enthusiasts doing their morning walk at Elliot’s beach, can now replenish their taste buds with something healthy. ‘Millet Me Up’ is a small kiosk that offers unique millet-based beverages.

The initiative is a joint venture by health-conscious friends E.Keerthi Kishan, Tushita Kaushik and Adyasha Pattnaik, who wanted to popularise millets. “Though millets are becoming popular, it is still considered a traditional food item. Thus we want to make millet more interesting than junk food, healthier and tastier while being pocket-friendly. This will also prove good for your gut,” said Tushita for Millet Me Up.

Currently, they provide two beverages – Southern Spice Delight: Ragi Butter Milk and Nutty Butty Bliss: Banana-Date Ragi Smoothie. “We do not have any sugars or artificial sweeteners in our products. All the sweetness comes from dates,” Tushita explained.

Check out Millet Me Up at the junction of 4th Main Road and Elliot’s Promenade, Besant Nagar from 6 am to 8:30 am on weekdays and till 9 am on weekends. Check out more about them on their Instagram page millet.me.up.
