Students from Wado Ryu Karate School, Gandhi Nagar attended the 13th Shukokai International Open Karate Do Championship, held in Sri Lanka on June 11. The students won the following places:
- K.Srinidhi won Gold medal in Kumite and Bronze medal in Kata
- M.L.Ritesh won Gold medal in Kumite and Bronze medal in Kata
- S.Advaith won Silver medal in Kumite and Bronze medal in Kata
- S.Praveen Kumar won Bronze in Kumite
- Sri Vathsan won Silver medals in both Kata and Kumite.
The students are under the guidance of the chief instructor: Shihan Dr.Gunashekar and Sensei Sudhakar and are trained by Renshi S.Vikram. The school is located at B.Ramachandra Adithanar Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, Ph: 24412476.
