The vibrant 7th annual Sports Day event, on Feb 5, hosted by Kidzee Kannappa Nagar and Valmiki Nagar branches was truly remarkable.

The festivities commenced with the soul-stirring rendition of the Tamizh Thai Vazthu. Ranjani Sankaran, IAAS, the chief guest of the event delivered an insightful speech on parenting tips in the digital age, sparking thoughtful reflections among attendees.

A standout moment was the unique declaration of the sports meet, marked by the release of doves and colourful balloons, accompanied by the joyous cheers of children.

The torch-bearing session by Senior KG children of Kannappa Nagar and Valmiki Nagar was remarkable. The highlight of the event was the awe-inspiring march past, leaving parents and spectators in sheer admiration.

From the tiny tots of Play Group and Nursery to the spirited performers of Junior and Senior KG, each class showcased remarkable discipline and coordination through meticulously choreographed drills. Running races and challenge games added excitement while contributing to the development of motor skills among the young participants.

The sports day extended with engaging activities such as parent games, parent-child games, and the exhilarating tug of war, fostering a sense of community and shared joy.
