Kidzee Thiruvanmiyur, on May 20, conducted an awareness campaign to Save the Endangered Species on the occasion of 50th National Endangered Species Day. This was an initiative from Kidzee Thiruvanmiyur Preschool located at Valmiki Nagar and Kannapa Nagar along with Wildlife SOS.

The kids, parents, and teachers from Kidzee took part in the event. Not only did the little participants walk on the beach road at 8 am, but they also had fun participating  in a campaign for the first time in life. The parents enjoyed walking along with their kids to support the awareness for endangered species campaign.

The kids, during the walk, held colourful placards advocating for the health of the endangered species. The visitors and parents signed a petition ‘Refuse to Ride on Animals’. The young walkers and parents were educated about the current situation of endangered, threatened, and extinct species by experts through online sessions by experts from WildlifeSOS. It is one of South Asia’s largest wildlife conservation organisations with 12 wildlife rehabilitation centres in India and runs over 49 projects to protect wildlife.

The school can be contacted at 98842 00080 or [email protected].
