Playcoop, a pioneering playschool and daycare centre in Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, is marking its 45th anniversary with a series of innovative programs and initiatives. Known for its commitment to pre-primary education and child care, Playcoop is enhancing its offerings to provide a holistic learning environment for children.
The centre continues to champion the ‘play-way method’ of learning, which incorporates a mixed-age group system to promote collaborative and social development. In addition to its foundational curriculum, Playcoop’s daycare services extend until 6.30 pm and include nutritious hot lunches and snacks.
Expanding its academic support, Playcoop now offers tuition facilities with a focus on Maths, Hindi, and English. The centre has also introduced a range of extracurricular activities, including chess classes with tournament opportunities, as well as art, yoga, dance, and music classes.
