ISKCON, ECR, celebrated the auspicious pushpa abhishek on May 12 with great fervour and enthusiasm. “Pushpa Abhishek holds a special place in the hearts of devotees, symbolising the profound connection between the Supreme Lord and the devotee,” said a statement from ISKCON.
During the festival, the deity was anointed with hundreds of kilograms of colourful and fragrant flowers, transforming the deity into a breathtaking floral spectacle. Devotees, driven by pure love, dressed the deity in garments made of these exquisite flowers, creating an immersive experience of devotion.
After the deities were bathed, the offered petals were then brought outside the altar and showered upon all the devotees. The festival concluded with a delicious prasadam feast.
