Residents of Journalist Colony, Thiruvanmiyur, had an interaction session with their Ward Councillor (Ward 180), Visalakshi Kapilan, on Oct.16. The residents, association President Chandrasekar and Secretary K.Gunasekar participated and presented their grievances and pleas. 

Participants mainly complained about sewage overflowing and requested the Councillor to undertake pruning of trees. The secretary also presented a petition to the councillor. The Councillor patiently heard all things and assured quick action. The next day the Corporation team arrived at the Colony and pruned the trees and sprayed mosquito repellent as well.
