The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), under its ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ Competitive Exams Wing, has announced an extension for the application deadline of its UPSC Mains Examination incentive scheme.

The scheme offers ₹25,000 directly into the bank accounts of Tamil Nadu students who successfully cleared the 2025 UPSC Preliminary Examination (held on May 25, 2025). This financial support is intended to aid their preparation for the Mains Examination.

The online application and official notification for this incentive were initially released on June 21, 2025, via https://portal.naanmudhalvan.tn.gov.in/upsc_registration/, with an initial deadline of July 2, 2025.

However, in response to numerous requests from aspirants who are awaiting their Residence/Nativity Certificates, the TNSDC has decided to extend the application period. The new deadline for submitting online applications for the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ UPSC Mains Exam Incentive Scheme is now July 13, 2025.
