A team from Urbaser Sumeet – CEO Mahmood Sait and various project heads, spearheaded an inspection and awareness campaign in Zone 13’s various commercial hubs. This initiative not only identified improvement areas but also emphasised the importance of a cleaner urban landscape.
Some of the areas include East Mada Street, Kalakshetra Road, and the vicinity near Annai Velankanni church. Beyond inspection, the team engaged with priests, commercial establishment owners, and locals, sharing information on responsible waste management and regular cleaning routines.
This move sets a precedent for proactive urban management, and encourages citizens to preserve their city’s charm.
