Visual artist Parvathi Nayar is conducting a community art project ‘Travelling Plants’ to highlight Chennai’s Urban Greenery. The public can take part in this project by sending a photo of a tree or plant that they encounter in daily life, along with their phone number. The photos must be emailed to [email protected] by June 2, along with your name and the area where the picture was taken.
Along with the photo submission, one can also add a quote expressing what the tree in the picture, or the urban greenery of Chennai, means to them.
