Volunteers from Thiruvanmiyur celebrated the birthday month of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sept.28. The event was organised by S.M.T Elumalai.
Sayee Sathyan was the special guest; he honoured the conservancy staff by washing their feet and offering flowers. Other volunteers also honoured the staff in a similar way. Sarees for the women and veshti and towel for the men were also provided.
“The aim of this event was to sincerely honour the sanitation workers for their services to our society. The staff were moved with such gestures and thanked our Prime Minister Modiji for the recognition given to them,” shared the volunteers.
