The Election Commission of India (ECI) has activated a two-pronged system for voters to resolve all election-related queries and complaints quickly.
- Voter Helpline 1950: The toll-free National Contact Centre (1800-11-1950) is operational daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, supported by regional State and District Contact Centres for localized assistance. All issues are logged and tracked via the National Grievance Service Portal (NGSP 2.0).
- ‘Book-a-Call with BLO’: A new feature on the ECINET platform allows citizens to directly schedule a call with their respective Booth Level Officer (BLO).
The ECI has directed all election officials to ensure prompt and transparent resolution of user requests within a strict 48-hour deadline. Voters are strongly encouraged to use the 1950 helpline and the ‘Book-a-Call with BLO’ facility for all feedback, suggestions, and complaints.
