The Tamil Nadu government has announced that Public Distribution System (PDS) grievance redressal camps will be held across Chennai’s 19 zones on April 12, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm. These monthly camps, to be held on every second Saturday of the month, aim to assist ration cardholders with services such as:

  • Card corrections and updates
  • Address changes
  • Addition or removal of family members
  • New Smart Card applications or modifications

Additionally, senior citizens and differently-abled individuals can obtain priority tokens for ration collection. Attendees are encouraged to report any issues related to fair price shops, including concerns about stock availability or irregularities. Residents of Chennai’s 19 zones are invited to participate in these camps at their respective Zonal Assistant Commissioner offices of the Food Supply and Consumer Protection Department in Chennai.
