Cancare Foundation, a Chennai-based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing free, high-quality end-stage cancer care, recently hosted PalliCon 2025 at Holiday Inn, OMR. This one-day conference brought together nurses, doctors, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to strengthen palliative care practices, emphasising empathetic communication, timely referrals, and crucial home-based care delivery.

Cancare’s core mission is to ensure comfort and dignity for patients in their final days. Their comprehensive services include pain management, emotional support, and caregiver guidance. Crucially, they offer home visits for patients unable to travel, ensuring care reaches those most in need.
