Samskrita Bharati is an NGO teaching spoken Sanskrit free of cost to all for the past 42 years.

Balageervani, an online course on Sanskrit, focuses mainly on school children. Course highlights: (a) Weekly one class; (b) Each class is of 1.5 hours; (c) At convenient timings.

The program has four levels: L 1 – Prabodha (age 7 and 8); L 2 – Prabhava (age 9 and 10); L 3 – Pratibha (age 10 and 11); L 4 – Pragnya (age 11 and 12). Each level will have two semesters. Exams will be conducted at the end of each semester. Children will be given a completion certificate at the end of each level.

Samskrita Bharati has over 80 qualified volunteer teachers in Tamilnadu to teach Balageervani Courses.

Children will learn Sanskrit rhymes, stories, Bhagavad Gita, Subhashitams, Amarakosha, Vyakaranam etc. Books and study materials have been designed with rich content for this purpose.
