Madras Boat Club (MBC), on July 29, hosted the 82nd edition of the Madras Colombo Regatta – The oldest international inter-club rowing event, established in the year 1898.

Dimuth Gunawardene, President of CRC, appreciated the wonderful hospitality of the MBC and warmly reminisced that in the olden days, the teams used to stay at the homes of the host club and the relationship extended to the families as well – and the friendships made, were for life.
