Annual Day at martial arts school

Born to Fight School of Martial Arts, on May 18, celebrated its 21st year with a programme where its students showcased their prowess. The students demonstrated skill through various arts like Kata, Kumite, Kobudo and tiles breaking. Sixty students aged 7 to 55 years received a black belt from Renshi Ayyappan Mani. Karate champion Ravi Kumar was the chief guest of the event.

They also conducted a special programme for women, on the occasion, where self defence was taught using various weapons. Born to Fight provides training in various martial art forms and self-defence techniques at their centre. They are at New No 57, 4th Floor, above SBI, Kasturba Nagar 3rd Cross Street, Teacher’s Colony, Adyar. Ph: 95662 79977.
