In keeping with its tradition, Sakambari Women’s Group, Indira Nagar, celebrated the Adi month festival of Amman worship on July 21 at their premises.
After the pooja, Koozh (porridge prasadham) was distributed to those assembled, including members and neighbourhood workers. This year, the day also happens to be Pournami and Guru Purnima. Thus, members chanted Lalitha Sahasranamam and Soundarya Lahari before commencing the Adi Pooja.
