Tamilnadu Governor R.N.Ravi, on July 14, inaugurated the 3-year celebration, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Gaudiya Mission’s Founder Acharya Srila Prabhupad.

In his address at the event, held at Anna University, he elaborated that Dharma is the soul of Bharat Rashtra, and whenever Dharma is under stress, divine souls such as Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Srila Prabhupada, Vallalar and Ayya Vaikundhar have appeared to reinstate Dharma.

He urged the Gaudiya Mission to work together to remove social discrimination and untouchability by embracing the Dalit and vulnerable sections of our nation and integrating them into the social and spiritual fabric. Such efforts, he stressed, would not only be a true honour to those revered icons but also contribute to forging a more inclusive and equitable ‘Vikasit Bharat’.
