Employment camp conducted at Ward 170

An employment camp was conducted by Magic Bus India Foundation under the aegis of Ward 170 Councillor K.R.Kathirmurugan, on Aug.31, at Kottur.

The Councillor informed that nearly 120 people had registered for the camp, from which, 21 participants got offer letters at the venue; 70 of them have been shortlisted to be offered opportunities within a week. “The skills of the remaining participants did not match the requirements on the day, however, we have requested the organisation to provide the required training to those participants and ensure job opportunities for them as well,” said the Councillor and ensured that he shall conduct such employment camps regularly in the future.
