OMR Taekwondo Academy, Kandanchavadi, on Nov.24, conducted the 4th level district Taekwondo championship at D.B. Jain College, Thoraipakkam.
Sholinganallur MLA, Aravind Ramesh, was the chief guest along with A.K.Aanand (Ward 193 Secretary), Socrates (Taekwondo Association Tamilnadu President), and K.Ekambaram ( Ward 195 Councillor).
190 students (100 boys and 90 girls) from six clubs participated in the event. OMR Taekwondo Academy bagged 34 golds, 24 silvers and 25 bronze medals in the Poomsae and Sparring event and also won the overall championship trophy.
