ADF organises Vedic chanting across sacred sites

The Appayya Dikshita Foundation (ADF), Kottivakkam, under the auspices of Dhoorvathi Gramaalaya Manthra Uchatana Nishkamya Seva Samithi, organised a series of Vedic chanting events across multiple locations.

On Jan.17, a Vedic chanting session was held at RainTree Apartments (Venus Colony, Alwarpet), where Sri Sama Veda (Aagneya Parvam, Kouthuma Shakha) and Sri Shukla Yajurveda were chanted by vidyarthis of Attur Chathurveda Patashala (Chengalpet) under the guidance of Brahmashri Kalyanarama Srowthigal and Rajan Aiyer.

From Feb.1 to 6, ADF organised Vedic rituals and parayanams at various sacred sites in Madhya Pradesh – Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple (Ujjain), Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temple, Maheshwar Ashram, Vinayakar Temple (South Indian Cultural Association School, Indore), Madhya Swaswaminathamalai Mandir (Bhopal).

The Vedic proceedings were led by G. Subramanian, former Chief Manager, Forex Division, Indian Bank.
