Students from the Born to Fight School of Martial Arts (BTF), Adyar, delivered a stellar performance at the International Taekwondo Championship held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium from Sept.12 to14.
Competing against over 480 athletes from eight countries, the BTF team secured an impressive 16 medals, showcasing their skills in both Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae (forms) categories. The team’s final tally included five gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals.
Medal Highlights
- Lakshitha won double gold in both Poomsae and Kyorugi
- Thangamitra, Yashwanth, and Pavan V.K. each brought home a gold and a silver medal
- Azhagar Raja and Rithvik Saye, secured a silver and bronze each
- Amulya and Ayesh S. Kumar won silver medals
- Ayush S. Kumar and Keerthana each earned a bronze.
