The formal proceedings started off with the Principal presenting the annual reports; The Chairman delivered the presidential address; Prof. V. Kamakoti, through a video address, shared his personal journey intertwined with the significance of education. He urged parents and teachers to recognize the invaluable role of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, emphasising that habits cultivated at a young age hold a profound impact. Prof. V. Kamakoti’s insights into free courses provided by IIT-M illuminated the path towards nurturing creativity and physical fitness, drawing from his own experiences as a former chairman of the school. A key moment was the felicitation of academic achievers and proficiency rank holders by dignitaries.

The informal segment of the evening unfolded with an enchanting invocation dance that showcased the spiritual essence of Keerthanam art. The nursery students presented a delightful nursery dance. The event’s cultural palette included mesmerising dance performances, captivating mime acts, heartwarming plays, and soulful songs in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Sanskrit.

A fusion dance artfully merged different dance forms, symbolising the school’s ethos of unity in diversity. A Hindi song celebrated Vana Vani’s 60-year journey, while a Tamil play depicted life’s lessons.

As the event concluded, it underscored Vana Vani’s commitment to nurturing young minds and honouring diversity. Beyond celebrating achievements, the 60th Annual Day mirrored the school’s values and promises a brighter future.
