“Honing skill sets is essentially the need of the hour for the younger generations,” announced Dipankar Ghose, Lead Field Strategist of PRAKRUTHI, at two different ceremonies on Oct.17 and 18.
On Oct.17, Prakruthi, along with Stella Maris College, initiated the ‘Knowledge Partnership’ on experiential learning. On Oct.18, eco adventure activities were launched at BCI IXORA in Perumbakkam. Normal and differently-abled people slid down into the water for their first lessons in snorkelling and skin-diving, joining renowned PADI Scuba Instructor Aravind and his 9 year old daughter Aradhana in a splendid demo.
PRAKRUTHI is also working with National College, Trichy, for hosting the international conference on ‘Renaissance in Sports’ in February 2024, for which the state Minister for School Education, Anbil Mahesh, is chairing, himself being a PhD scholar in Sports Science.
Basic snorkelling course will be held on Oct.27, 28 and 29; Certificates will be given. “PRAKRUTHI is promoting eco adventures to make the Human’E’ CONNECT with the world around us. Once we’re connected, we then dare to care for our habitat and environment, as we appreciate what we explore and understand,” said a statement from PRAKRUTHI. To register, contact 73959 17040.
