MGM Healthcare Malar, Adyar, was abuzz with excitement as it hosted the much-awaited children’s carnival, on Nov.24 – a vibrant event celebrating the energy and creativity of young minds. 

In collaboration with the Hindu Senior Secondary School, Indira Nagar, Adyar, the carnival brought together over 987 enthusiastic students, who participated in the preliminary rounds of an engaging quiz. The competition concluded with 60 finalists from the school competing in an exciting finale at the school premises, followed by a grand felicitation ceremony at MGM Healthcare Malar, Adyar.

The Department of Paediatrics at MGM Healthcare Malar honoured the winners with medals and certificates, recognising their brilliance and efforts. The event also featured a Paediatric Wellness Talk delivered by senior paediatricians, who shared invaluable insights into child health and wellness.

The children also enjoyed a series of fun-filled activities, including craft-making and balloon sculpting, making the day a delightful blend of education and entertainment.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
