Chennai Photo Biennale Foundation (CPBF) and Greater Chennai Corporation conducted a student photography workshop at the Chennai Higher Secondary School, Thiruvanmiyur. “This project aims to inculcate new perspectives and thought processes about the world around us, the society and the day-to-day life of the people here. The children enjoyed the workshop too. Their energy has given us the enthusiasm to teach them more,” said Anjana from CPBF.

The institute conducted a 6-month workshop for 15 students from Chennai Primary School and 25 students from Higher Secondary School. The students took nearly 13000 pictures, from which CPBF shortlisted 107 for display. “It was a learning experience not only for the children but also for us as we could see the life in and around Thiruvanmiyur,” added Anjana.
