It was a one-of-a-kind workshop with three live robotic surgeries demonstrated including first live demonstration of a new modality for the treatment of benign prostates, transperineal prostate biopsies and ThuFLEP – laser prostate treatment. Young urologists and post-graduates were also trained in MRI reading and ultrasound equipment, apart from trying their hands at Robotics in the experience centre and simulators.
