On the occasion of World Tribals day (Aug.9), an eye camp was conducted jointly by Sri Brahadeeswara Lodge (Sivagamipuram, Thiruvanmiyur), Lions Club of Central Madras and Sankara Nethralaya for the students of Arignar Anna Govt. High School, Besant Nagar. Headmaster David Mano and Lion Hari Narayanan helped in arranging the event.
Right Worsablel Regional Grand Master Of Southern India R.W.T.N.Manoharan and District Governor Lion M.Sridhar inaugurated the camp. Sankara Nethralaya doctors and staff conducted the camp, which benefitted nearly 206 students. Arrangements have also been made for procuring spectacles for those who require it.
