Harshini Sre: A young poet with a powerful voice

Harshini Sre, a 13-year-old book enthusiast from Kasturba Nagar, Adyar, is a student of Akshar Arbol International School, T. Nagar. An avid reader with a deep passion for poetry, she also enjoys badminton and karate.

She has recently authored her first poetry book ‘The Knight Shall Not Come’. The book depicts, in poetry, a story of a girl with no knight to save her. Priced at Rs.150, the book is available on Amazon and Notion Press, offering readers a chance to experience the profound thoughts of this young poet.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
