Indira Nagar Women’s Association conducted a program on ‘Cybercrime on social media’. Family Counsellors – Arul Thangam and Ms Ponni, explained various important aspects of social media and threw light on the types of cyber crimes.
Members were advised on how to tackle the problem and in resolving the issues. Safety measures and tips were shared with the audience to prevent possible cheating when answering calls from unknown numbers. They also briefed on the immediate steps to be taken when anyone got cheated and transferred money.
