Mirra, an NGO working with neurodivergent individuals and their families in Velachery, celebrated its annual day Kalakriti – The Stage on Jan.28 at The TEACH Auditorium, Taramani. Brindha Sivakumar, playback singer and voice actor, was the chief guest and Vijayan Rajkumar, HR and CSR Head at Prodapt, was the guest of honour.
The event had students displaying their talents ranging from singing, dancing, roleplay, playing instruments like keyboard and violin, story-telling, art and craft handiwork, skits, cooking videos, yoga demonstrations etc. Students of Canbridge and Swabhimaan also participated, displaying their singing prowess.
The event was a well-curated and collaborative effort providing a platform for organisations working with neurodiverse populations to showcase and sell their handmade products ranging from spice powders to art decor and utility materials. Suchiram Foods, DSSW and GSM centre had put up their stalls.
Mirra celebrates this talent show every year to provide a platform for budding artists and promote the possibilities of their efforts.
