The Lions Club of Thiruvanmiyur celebrated its 55th anniversary on July 23, 2025, with a vibrant ceremony to install its new team of office bearers and induct new members.
Immediate Past President Lion Muthuselvan welcomed the gathering. Lion Shobana Kalyanaraman inducted the new members, emphasising the Lions’ crucial role in supporting the underprivileged. First Vice District Governor Lion Rajesh Joshi officially installed the new team, led by President MJF Lion V. Ravichandran, and elaborated on the responsibilities of the office bearers.
President Ravichandran promised commitment to spearheading projects focused on vision care, blood donation, environmental initiatives, cancer awareness, LCIF support, and other community services. Region Chairperson Lion Arunkumar extended his felicitations. MJF Lion Sasikala and PMJF Lion S. Mani compered the event, while Lion Ravindran gave the vote of thanks.
