The vast project encompasses 12 integrated flood management works, including the redevelopment and rejuvenation of existing culverts, construction of closed concrete drains and water retention structures, building flood protection walls and infiltration wells, and strengthening river systems. Special emphasis will be placed on integrated flood management solutions for Ambattur industrial areas and the construction of new flood diversion canals.
