Adyarite Bhagyashree Satish and Thiruvanmiyur resident C.V.Chandramohan were among the 25 distinguished gurus to receive the prestigious Acharya Kalasakara – Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural Gurushyam Global Achievement Awards. Hosted by Griffin College London, International Examination Board, this event marked the institution’s first awards ceremony in India.
The ceremony also officially launched its Internationally Accredited Graded Examination in Indian Performing Arts. The launch was presided over by Padma Bhushan Dr. Nalli Kuppuswami Chetti, Kalaimamani Dr. Ambika Kameshwar, Kalaimamani V. Ramjee, Griffin College London Chairman Dr. Padma Rahulan, and Managing Director Nathan Rahulan.
The Lifetime Achievement Award honoured Gurus like Bhagyashree Satish and C.V.Chandramohan for their lifelong dedication to mentoring, performing, and preserving India’s rich artistic legacy across diverse traditional and contemporary art forms.
