Odyssey hosts ‘Essence Resonate’ poetry launch

Odyssey, Chennai’s leading lifestyle store, on July 5, launched ‘Essence Resonate’, an English poetry collection by father-daughter duo Sundar Rajan and Neeraja. The event, coinciding with Sundar Rajan’s parents’ wedding anniversary, celebrated literary passion and family.

Sundar Rajan, a chartered accountant, is also a published poet and avid photographer. Neeraja, an MS holder in healthcare, shares a passion for various arts and animals.

Chief guest Swami Jnanaswarupananda of Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home released the anthology and shared profound insights related to Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and his own poetry. The first copy was received by the mother of Sundar Rajan. Guest of honour Sankar Ramamurthy, a corporate leader and Sundar Rajan’s schoolmate, brought vibrant energy with school-day anecdotes and a clear analysis of the poems.

Neeraja, joining virtually from San Francisco, discussed her artistic journey, recited a poem, and performed a keertana. Uma Vangal expertly emceed, and Padmini delivered the Vote of thanks. Copies are available at Odyssey, or contact Sundar Rajan at 98410 35185.
