Patrician College celebrates 24th College Day

Patrician College of Arts and Science, Adyar, celebrated its 24th College Day with great enthusiasm on its campus. F.Antony Praveen – Global Head HR (Hinduja Tech Limited) was the chief guest. Other dignitaries in attendance included Director and Secretary Bro. F.Naveen, Academic Director Dr. Fatima Vasanth, and Principal Dr. Arokiamary Geetha Rufus.

The Annual Report, coordinated by the Principal, highlighted the college’s milestones in academics, cultural events, and extension activities. The chief guest shared valuable insights, encouraging students to focus on their future.

The valedictory ceremony saw the Student Council present its Annual Report before stepping down, symbolically lighting the candle of wisdom. Dr. B.Anandapriya, Vice-Principal, administered the pledge to students.

With active participation from students, faculty, and dignitaries, the event was a grand success, celebrating achievements and marking a new chapter for the institution.

Adyar Times was established in Chennai in the year 1993, founded by Mr.S.P.Ambrose, IAS (Retd.). The concept of a newspaper for the neighbourhood was a novel idea then. The English weekly (Sunday) now boasts a circulation of 42000 copies with an average of 16 pages per issue.
