The Pulse Polio Immunization (PPI) campaign will be conducted on Mar.3 across 43,051 booths established in all PHCs/Government Hospitals/ ICDS centers, noon-meal centres, schools and other important places in TamilNadu.

The booths will function from 7 am to 5 pm. All children 5 years and below will be administered the drops, even if they have recently been immunised. All newborn children will be given Polio drops on the campaign days on the left little finger. Private paediatricians and hospitals will also administer polio drops in their clinics on the day.

Children of Migrant labourers will also be administered the polio drops. Transit booths will be functioning in major bus stands, railway stations, toll plazas, check posts and airports during the campaign days to cover the children on travel.

All parents are requested to utilise this opportunity and get their children immunised on Pulse Polio days.
