Shihan Hussaini, a celebrated karate expert, archery coach, and actor passed away in Chennai on Mar.25, after a courageous battle with leukemia, a form of blood cancer. His family confirmed the news on Facebook, inviting fans and students to pay their respects at his residence in Besant Nagar.

Hussaini’s mortal remains will be at T 16/2 Coastal Road, Kalakshetra Colony till 6 pm today after which he will be shifted to Madurai. His passing has left a deep impact on the martial arts and sports communities and the Tamil film industry, where he was known for his appearances in several notable films.
Hussaini dedicated his life to training and mentoring students in karate and archery, earning widespread respect for his contributions. His legacy will continue to inspire generations in martial arts, sports, and Tamil cinema.
The Tamil Nadu government recognized his contributions and, earlier this month, provided financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh for his medical treatment.
