Students (batch of 2008) of St. Patrick’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Adyar, recently embarked on a journey down memory lane, as they gathered for a much-anticipated reunion.
Set against the backdrop of heartfelt conversations and joyous reminiscing, this special occasion started with honouring the teachers who had shaped their lives, from the hands of Mr. Nandhakumar, IRS, and Bro. John Kennedy, Principal of the school. The pride in the teachers’ eyes and the warmth of their smiles were a testament to their lasting impression on a generation.
The event, meticulously planned by a dedicated committee, aimed to evoke a sense of camaraderie and celebrate the shared experiences of an extraordinary group of individuals. It showcased the various accomplishments and milestones achieved by each member of the class during their post-school journeys – a testament to their collective determination.
In addition to the nostalgic affair, the reunion provided a platform for former classmates to bond over shared experiences, exchange life stories, and offer support to one another. The class of ’08, having made remarkable strides in their respective fields, were able to celebrate their successes and draw inspiration from each other’s achievements. As the evening drew to a close, the reunion committee expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all those who made this event possible. As the Class of ’08 bid their final farewells, their hearts were filled with gratitude for the memories shared and the profound impact of their alma mater. The reunion had succeeded not only in rekindling friendships but also in evoking a sense of appreciation for the transformative power of education.
