The UN recognises Dec.10 as International Human Rights Day. One of the major human rights is the right to good health. In honour of this right, RMSM (Dr.Radhakrishnan Nagar, Marundeeswarar Nagar, Sivakamipuram, Malaviya Avenue) People’s Security & Welfare Association, organised a medical camp for the conservancy staff of Urbaser Sumeet.

Rotary Club North supported the camp and brought in paramedics and doctors from Rajan Eye Care, Sri Ramachandra Hospital (Dental), and Kauvery Mobile Wellness Clinic.

The camp lasted from 8 am to 4 pm, and more than 125 people, including Urbesar-Sumeet conservancy staff and others in the adjoining areas, availed the services and received free medicines. The hospitals came forward to make the procedures (filling teeth and cataract surgery) completely free for the patients.
