VHS Hospitals, a leading healthcare provider committed to serving the community, recently announced the donation for 100 free cataract surgeries, by the Rotary Club of Madras to individuals in need. This significant contribution aims to address the growing issue of vision impairment and restoration of sight to those who cannot afford the necessary medical procedures.

Cataracts, a common vision problem affecting millions worldwide, can cause significant visual impairment and hinder individuals’ ability to lead fulfilling lives. Recognising the importance of accessible and affordable eye care, Rotary Club of Madras (RCM) have provided funds worth Rs. 5 lakhs towards these life-changing cataract surgeries at VHS.
